Since the Monument of Triumph update on June 9, 2026, older Destiny 2 raids and dungeons drop tiered weapons and armor, raid and dungeon armor carries activity-specific set bonuses, and raid weapons have updated perk pools. The best drops now come from the two raids and two dungeons featured each week, while non-featured activities pay less unless you run them on Master.

What changed in the raid and dungeon loot refresh?
Monument of Triumph brought older raids and dungeons up to the tier system that launched with The Edge of Fate. According to Kyber's Corner's summary of Bungie's May 29, 2026 This Week in Destiny, all pre-Edge of Fate raid and dungeon armor became tiered, dungeon weapons became tiered, and craftable raid weapons gained tier bonuses through the Relic. Kyber's overview also notes crafted weapons gained Tier 1 to 5 upgrade paths.
Raid weapons received updated perk pools and dungeon weapons received new origin traits. Existing loot was refreshed rather than replaced, so familiar weapons are back in the chase with new rolls.
How do raid and dungeon armor set bonuses work?
Each raid and dungeon armor set now has its own 2-piece and 4-piece bonus. Bungie's example was Shattered Throne. Its 2-piece bonus, Queensfoil Rush, grants an overshield while performing a finisher, and finishing a target releases a slowing burst. Its 4-piece bonus, Truth to Power, grants increasing damage resistance, finishers accelerate its progress, and at maximum stacks ability recharge is increased.
The newest dungeon, Equilibrium from Renegades, already used this system. Blueberries.gg lists its 2-piece bonus as Combat Meditation, where sword hits return grenade and class energy, and its 4-piece as Blade Focus, which boosts sword damage and lunge distance after guarding.
Why do featured raids and dungeons matter more now?
Two raids and two dungeons are featured each week, and Bungie describes them as the main source of the best raid and dungeon drops. Featured activities no longer award a Power upgrade; they award top-quality gear instead.
- Featured raid, Standard: Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor from encounters and challenges.
- Featured raid, Master: The same, plus Adept weapons from challenges. The vendor sells Adepts for 25 Spoils of Conquest.
- Non-featured raid, Standard: A chance at Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor.
- Featured dungeon: Tier 5 weapons and armor on Standard and Master, plus the Director challenge and hidden chests, which have weekly lockouts.
- Non-featured dungeon: Tier 3 gear on Standard, Tier 5 on Master.
This week, from November 3 to November 10, 2026, Kyber's Corner lists Crota's End and Vault of Glass as the featured raids and Spire of the Watcher and Pit of Heresy as the featured dungeons.
Can you farm raid and dungeon exotics?
Kyber's Corner reports that the Destiny 2 team said on May 29 that raid and dungeon exotic weapons would be farmable after Monument of Triumph. The newest activities have their own rules: Blueberries.gg says the Equilibrium exotic, the Heirloom crossbow, can be farmed once per character per week, while Kyber's raid page lists The Desert Perpetual's exotic rocket launcher, Whirling Ovation, as a once-per-week drop from the final boss.
Bungie does not publish exotic drop rates, so no amount of clears guarantees one.
What happened to exotic armor?
Exotic armor earned since The Edge of Fate was automatically upgraded to Tier 5 stats, and the update added 25 new exotic catalysts plus exotic weapon tuning. True Exotic Transmog also arrived for PvE.
Did Power change?
No. Kyber's Corner quotes Bungie: "There is no Power Level increase for Monument of Triumph." The maximum Power cap remains 550, so returning raiders are chasing tiers and rolls rather than a higher number.
