Trials of Osiris is Destiny 2's competitive three-versus-three mode, and its headline goal is seven wins and a trip to the Lighthouse, with a flawless run meaning those seven wins without a loss. A Trials carry pairs you with experienced players so you can work toward that goal while playing your own account.

What is a Trials carry?
A Trials carry is a guided run where you queue with experienced Guardians and play your own character. Nobody logs in as you. The goal is to give you a strong team and clear communication in a mode where coordination decides matches.
Trials is the least predictable activity we cover, because the opposing team is made up of real players. That is why a Trials service is described as a session with a goal and never as a guaranteed result. If you want to understand the order process before booking, read how a self-play carry works.

How does Trials of Osiris work?
Trials runs as a weekend event, from the Friday reset to the Tuesday reset, and is not available every week, because other events such as Iron Banner can take its place. You pick up a Trials passage from Saint-14 in the Tower, then play three-versus-three matches while your win count climbs.
Bungie has reworked Trials rewards more than once, so always check the in-game Trials screen for the current rules. At the time of writing, guides describe seven wins as the route to the Lighthouse, with a seven-win streak and no losses, the flawless streak, unlocking the highest reward tier. Because these details change, we describe our services by the number of wins you are aiming for and not by Bungie's reward names.
What does flawless mean in Trials of Osiris?
A flawless run means winning seven matches without losing any. Players who reach that streak earn the top reward tier for the week. A single loss ends the flawless streak, which is why teamwork matters so much. Reaching the Lighthouse itself is described in current guides as a seven-win goal, so a loss does not necessarily end your visit, but it does end the flawless goal.
How does a Trials carry order work?
You choose a session on the Trials of Osiris carry page, check out and confirm your platform, gamer tag and a weekend time. A Sherpa accepts the order, and until that moment you can cancel for a full refund. At the agreed time you receive a fireteam invite on your own account, and the team plays together until the session ends.
How do I prepare for a Trials carry?
- Bring a loadout and subclass you are comfortable using in competitive play.
- Use a headset and be ready to follow callouts.
- Check when Trials is active, since it runs as a weekend event.
- Agree a start time on your order page and keep it free.
- Make sure your platform settings let you receive a fireteam invite.
What role do I play on a Trials team?
Trials teams do not have fixed classes, but good teams share responsibilities. Your Sherpa will help you fit into one of these.
You do not have to change how you play. The Sherpa watches your first matches and suggests small adjustments, such as where to stand or when to trade, so the team works around your strengths.
Who is a Trials carry for?
Players who rarely reach the Lighthouse
If you enjoy Trials but your solo or random-team results are inconsistent, playing alongside experienced teammates gives you a more stable team and a clearer plan for each match.
Players short a fireteam
Trials is a three-player mode, and finding two reliable teammates for a weekend can be hard. A booked session gives you a team at a time you choose.
Players who want to learn by watching
Playing beside stronger players shows you positioning, timing and decision-making in real matches. Many players find that more useful than reading about it.
How should I handle a loss?
Losses are normal in Trials, even for strong teams. After a loss, your Sherpa takes a short moment to say what happened, such as a mistimed push or a lost power-weapon fight, and what to change next time. Then the team resets. The aim is to keep the team calm, because frustrated players make worse decisions. Remember that a loss ends a flawless streak but the session itself continues toward the win goal you booked.
How do I communicate well in Trials?
- Call enemy positions in short phrases, such as location plus number of enemies.
- Say when you are low on health, out of ammo or without your super.
- Agree who pushes and who holds before each round.
- Keep your tone steady. Calm teams win more of the close fights.
Do I need a specific loadout?
Bring the weapons and subclass you are most comfortable with in PvP, not the current meta you have never used. Your Sherpa reviews your loadout before the first match and suggests small changes that fit how you already play.
Trials carry, coaching or doing it solo?

| Trials carry | Coaching | Solo or with friends | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Working toward a win goal with strong teammates | Improving aim, positioning and decisions | Players with a ready three-player team |
| You play | Your own character | Your own character, with a coach reviewing | Your own character |
| Starting cost | From $19 | From $29 | Free |
If you want to improve for every future weekend, consider a coaching session and read the coaching guide.
How is Trials different from a raid or dungeon carry?
Raids and dungeons are cooperative: the enemies are scripted, so a Sherpa can explain exactly what will happen. Trials is competitive, so no one can predict what the other team will do. A Trials carry therefore focuses on teamwork, communication and decision-making, while a raid carry or dungeon carry focuses on teaching mechanics. The Trials price also reflects this: sessions start at $19 because the length is measured in matches and not in a fixed encounter list.
Is a Trials carry guaranteed?
No. Matches depend on opponents and the game itself, so no provider can promise a specific result. We describe exactly what each service includes before you pay. See our services and FAQ.
How long does a Trials session take?
Individual matches are short, but a session depends on how many matches you need and how the results go. Treat the time as a planning range and not a promise: a three-win session is generally much shorter than a flawless-goal run, which may span several hours. Your order page confirms the plan for your session.
What are common Trials mistakes?
- Changing your whole loadout. Trials rewards comfort and consistency, so stay with what you practice.
- Playing on tilt. After a loss, take a breath and reset with your team.
- Ignoring callouts. Information wins fights in a three-player mode.
- Booking outside the event window. Trials only runs from Friday reset to Tuesday reset when it is active.
- Expecting guaranteed results. Opponents decide the outcome of every match.
What is included, and what is not?
A Trials carry includes experienced teammates, a loadout check, communication and a shared plan for the matches you play. It does not include guaranteed wins, guaranteed rewards or anyone playing your character. You always play your own account.
Is it safe for my account?
Self-play lowers risk but cannot remove it. We never ask for your password and you join through a normal in-game invite. Read our account safety page before you order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Trials carry cost?
A Guardian Sherpa Trials of Osiris session is $19 for a 3-win session and $39 for a flawless-goal run (seven wins without a loss). Trials only runs from Friday reset to Tuesday reset, so your order page confirms a weekend time.
What does flawless mean in Trials?
A flawless run is seven wins in a row on a single Trials passage with zero losses, and it earns the top reward tier for the week. Our flawless-goal option means we play for that streak with you; results depend on matchmaking, so we never guarantee it.
Do I need a specific loadout?
Bring the weapons and subclass you are most comfortable with in PvP rather than the current meta you have never used. Your Sherpa reviews your loadout before the first match and suggests small changes that fit how you already play.
When can I book a Trials session?
Trials runs as a weekend event, from the Friday reset to the Tuesday reset, and other events such as Iron Banner can take its place some weeks. Your order page confirms a time that falls inside the window when Trials is live.
Will you guarantee wins or the Lighthouse?
No. Opponents and matchmaking decide every match, so we guarantee experienced teammates, clear communication and a serious attempt at the goal you booked, not a particular result.
Do I have to share my Destiny 2 login?
No. Self-play means you stay signed in on your own account and join our fireteam through a normal in-game invite. On self-play orders we never ask for your password, your email login or your platform credentials. Piloted orders need secure account access, shared only after payment through your private order page. Read the account safety page for the full policy.
Can I cancel my order for a refund?
Yes, up to the moment a Sherpa accepts your order. Until then you can cancel from your order page for a full refund to the original payment method. After a Sherpa accepts, the customer-side cancel option closes, but our team can still cancel, refund or reschedule if something goes wrong. See the refund policy.
How do I book and what happens next?
Pick the run type on the product page and check out. You get a private order page where you confirm your platform, Bungie name and a time window. A Sherpa accepts the order, you receive a fireteam invite at the agreed time, and you play the activity together. Afterwards you have a 48-hour review window. The step-by-step guide covers each stage.
